We’re more of a medium sized rectangle and we have character. And lots of it.

Todd & Moore first opened it’s doors back in 1944 on Main Street in downtown Columbia. Mr. Charlie Todd and Mr. George Moore had a vision to be “hands on” in their business operation and to develop relationships with local recreational, high school and college coaches. It always has been and continues to be our goal to offer the best products, outstanding customer service and affordable prices in the Midlands and throughout the great Palmetto state.

We don’t have a fancy new store with wide aisles and shiny new fixtures. Our houses at 620 Huger St. and 223 O’Neil Ct. are older and seasoned. Our store’s layouts and décor haven’t changed much in the last twenty years or so. Our product knowledge, inventory and customer service has.

We greet every customer that enters our doors and we offer superior product knowledge and an experienced sales staff. We are not a self-service store. We stock and sell you what you need. What we don’t know, we will make every effort to find out. What we don’t stock, we will special order if available from the manufacturer.

In addition to our retail sales staff, we have 8 team salesmen who are available for personal consultations for custom ordering team uniforms and equipment. They will provide you with a quote with team prices for all your needs.

We are locally owned and operated and we are a TRUE sporting goods store. And by this I mean, we carry the apparel, equipment and accessories you need all year long, not just when the sport is in season. For example, fall baseball is in full swing and many customers have told us we are the only place in town with baseball pants in stock. Swimming is another year round fitness activity, not just when the weather is hot.

Customer Roxanne Daniels recently shared with us…“I'm a beginner swimmer. I recently went in to a Todd and Moore and there was a lady there (owner, sales, not sure) who guided me through trying on several pairs of goggles, and made it actually kind of fun, trying to figure out what fit right. I ended up buying a pair; the next morning I tried them out at the pool. They were perfect. “

And that folks, is our goal…to get it right when a customer needs help. It sets us apart and shows that we care about our customers.

In our mobile society, where families move in and out of our area frequently and change is a constant, Todd & Moore remains the same. A retail establishment where you are welcomed, valued, and treated like family. And there is always coffee brewing.
