Making a list, checking it twice...

I’ve always been a list maker. I like to see my grocery list hand-written on actual paper. I write a to-do list for work and home. I do the same for all my Christmas shopping. I make a master list with the names of everyone our family is buying a gift for along with gift ideas. Then I make of list of the locally owned and operated businesses where I’ll be doing my Christmas shopping.

I love to shop at locally owned and operated businesses, especially the ones that wrap or provide a gift box at Christmas time. I especially love the ones that know me by name and know the types of things that will make the perfect gift for my family and friends.

I don’t stress over gift shopping because I don’t believe that’s what celebrating and enjoying Christmas is all about. I know my family and friend’s interests, I know my budget, and for the most part it’s a Todd & Moore Christmas at my house. It helps that my husband, kids, and extended family members are all into fitness and either Gamecock or Tiger athletics.
